Astute observation, Lukesky, that no references were cited in this article. I consider the practice of providing credit where credit is due to be paramount in maintaining the integrity of this blog. With that said....

The editorial comments in this post, about Social Media guru programs, are intentionally generalized, so as not to demean or promote any particular program. Therefore, specific references are not provided.

On the other hand, the "Social Media Sandwich Principle" is the creation of my own experience: bumps, bruises, failures, and path to success. Subscribers to this blog benefit from a sneak peak at its content before it becomes a packaged (read: you'll have to pay for it) product.

Yes, I too was a member of Perry's SMM group. I am at the moment fighting with a big Sydney based internet marketing company to get all my money back after a continual changing of the program. The question is these days....."who do you trust?" There are so many so called experts out there that quote you will make thousands in weeks but it's all B.S.
The only people who make the money are the one's that sell the programs.
I would love to see an expert do it this way.
Train a small group (FOR FREE) to a point where they are competent and making those Thousands $$$ a month and only then , charge them for the service rendered.
That will weed out the conmen. Leave us with maybe 5%.

@PhillD, I agree. What's truly hard is finding authentic, value-add training in the Social Media space. I'm fortunate to be a member of Perry Belcher's last Social Media Mastermind -- just prior to his departure from the public spotlight. There is a small cadre who've committed to keep his knowledge and expertise available to those who are hungry for it.

Such a simple methodology, yet so hard for some people to see.
