A great loss to Social Media Monetization – Perry Belcher

It’s with a saddened heart that I add this post. As of Oct 1, 2009, Social Media mogul and good friend, Perry Belcher, is hanging up his Social Media teaching spurs and reclaiming a private life. I KNOW! I couldn’t believe the announcement on his blog, PerryBelcher.com.

Oh, he may be retreating to private life, but he is not disappearing altogether. On his blog, Perry explains how his current celebrity takes a toll on personal and family life. As a result, he’s withdrawing from Trainer and Speaker roles, and removing his training materials from the market, but will remain a force to be reckoned with on the marketing forefront.

No need to panic. All is not lost.

Almost everyone who is promoting (or trying to promote) their business through Social Media has heard of Perry Belcher. If you are one of the few who have never heard of him, let me cite a few of his achievements:

So what happens to Perry Belcher’s knowledge?

A lucky few have cut their Social Marketing teeth with guidance direct from the horse’s mouth, and achieved rapid and sustainable business growth as a result. With today’s announcement, Perry is removing all of his training products from the market.
